Theme 2: La culture politique et artisque dan les pays – set in the context of francophone countries and communities and covers artistic and political culture.

La musique, Les médias, Les festivals et les traditions

Popular literary texts and films – It offers a rich choice of literary texts and films that includes contemporary and more classical titles, together with authentic source materials from France and the wider French-speaking world.

Rewards creativity – The assessments place an emphasis on spontaneity and grammar, as well as providing plenty of opportunities for students to apply their knowledge independently and creatively.

Clear and coherent structure –It has a straightforward structure with two engaging themes – Les changements dans la société française and La culture politique et artistique dans les pays francophones. The two themes are studied alongside either one literary text or one film and assessed through two externally-examined papers and one nnon-exam assessment (speaking).
