At AIS, we are continuing to develop our creative curriculum. Initially this required a complete change of thinking for many teachers, parents and children. The idea of the creative curriculum is to provide an excellent education where all children make good progress through exciting activities in a stimulating environment. It has been found in the U.K. that this type of curriculum can make all the difference between what is considered a good school and one that is outstanding. Children learn best when they are safe and happy. We want to make their learning a memorable experience. Children have one journey through learning which hopefully extends through their adult life and so we need to ensure that our lifelong learners have deep roots which begin in the Early Years setting and are carefully nurtured.<\/p>

For our curriculum to \u201cwork\u201d it is vital that planning is carefully structured and not at all woolly! Here our dedicated team of teachers plan, teach and assess children\u00b4s learning continually. Our Curriculum is Literacy led and skills based. Language and communication skills are at the heart of our learning structure. We encourage children to explore and pursue their own interests although we introduce children to new experiences to provide a broad education. Our aim is to develop an atmosphere of wonder and enthusiasm, of enjoyment and pride, success and intelligent risk taking.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

En AIS, continuamos desarrollando nuestro plan de estudios creativo. Inicialmente, esto requiri\u00f3 un cambio completo de pensamiento para muchos maestros, padres y ni\u00f1os. La idea del curr\u00edculo creativo es brindar una educaci\u00f3n excelente en la que todos los ni\u00f1os progresen a trav\u00e9s de actividades emocionantes en un ambiente estimulante. Se ha descubierto en el Reino Unido que este tipo de plan de estudios puede marcar la diferencia entre lo que se considera una buena escuela y una que es sobresaliente. Los ni\u00f1os aprenden mejor cuando est\u00e1n seguros y felices. Queremos hacer de su aprendizaje una experiencia memorable. Los ni\u00f1os tienen un viaje a trav\u00e9s del aprendizaje que, con suerte, se extiende a lo largo de su vida adulta, por lo que debemos asegurarnos de que nuestros estudiantes de por vida tengan ra\u00edces profundas que comiencen en el entorno de Early Years y se alimenten cuidadosamente.<\/p>

\u00a1Para que nuestro plan de estudios “funcione” es vital que la planificaci\u00f3n est\u00e9 cuidadosamente estructurada y no sea del todo imprecisa! Aqu\u00ed, nuestro dedicado equipo de maestros planifica, ense\u00f1a y eval\u00faa continuamente el aprendizaje de los ni\u00f1os. Nuestro plan de estudios est\u00e1 dirigido por la alfabetizaci\u00f3n y basado en habilidades. Las habilidades ling\u00fc\u00edsticas y de comunicaci\u00f3n son el centro de nuestra estructura de aprendizaje. Alentamos a los ni\u00f1os a explorar y perseguir sus propios intereses, aunque les presentamos nuevas experiencias para brindarles una educaci\u00f3n amplia.
