All students are involved in Key Stage 3 \u00a0Art. Pupils use technical and expressive skills in recording ideas and feelings. They show a developing ability to analyse and represent chosen features of the natural and made environment. They are increasingly able to research, organize and experiment with relevant resources and materials. They modify and refine their work to realise their intentions and plan and make further developments taking account of their own and others views and the history of art from many cultures.<\/p>

In Key Stage 4 those students who have selected the subject for IGCSE follow a set course on observational, analytical and interpretive studies including aspects of the history of art relevant to their work.<\/p>

The subject is popular and many students who have passed at the required grade in IGCSE go on to take AS and A2 \u00a0advanced level art studies.<\/p>

They compare work across time and places recognising characteristics that stay the same and those that change. They critically appraise their own and others work in the light of what was intended.<\/p>

Pupils analyse images and artefacts, using appropriate art, crafts and design vocabulary and identify how ideas, feelings and meanings are conveyed in different styles and traditions.<\/p>

We send many students to universities across the world to pursue an art degree of their choice, which could be; painting, sculpture, fashion and textiles, internet design work, film and animation, restoration, gallery work and also the commercial world of art.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Todos los alumnos participan en la Etapa Clave 3 de Arte. Los alumnos utilizan habilidades t\u00e9cnicas y expresivas para plasmar ideas y sentimientos. Muestran una capacidad en desarrollo para analizar y representar caracter\u00edsticas escogidas del entorno natural y creado. Son cada vez m\u00e1s capaces de investigar, organizar y experimentar con los recursos y materiales pertinentes. Modifican y perfeccionan su trabajo para hacer realidad sus intenciones y planifican y realizan nuevos desarrollos teniendo en cuenta sus propios puntos de vista y los de los dem\u00e1s, as\u00ed como la historia del arte de muchas culturas.
En la Etapa Clave 4, los alumnos que han seleccionado la asignatura para el IGCSE siguen un curso fijo de estudios observacionales, anal\u00edticos e interpretativos que incluye aspectos de la historia del arte relevantes para su trabajo.
La asignatura es popular y muchos alumnos que han aprobado con la nota requerida en IGCSE pasan a cursar estudios de arte de nivel avanzado AS y A2.
Comparan obras de distintas \u00e9pocas y lugares, reconociendo las caracter\u00edsticas que permanecen inalteradas y las que cambian. Eval\u00faan cr\u00edticamente su propio trabajo y el de otros a la luz de lo que se pretend\u00eda.
Los alumnos analizan im\u00e1genes y artefactos, utilizando el vocabulario apropiado de arte, artesan\u00eda y dise\u00f1o, e identifican c\u00f3mo se transmiten ideas, sentimientos y significados en diferentes estilos y tradiciones.<\/p>

Enviamos a muchos estudiantes a universidades de todo el mundo para que cursen la carrera de arte que elijan: pintura, escultura, moda y textiles, dise\u00f1o en Internet, cine y animaci\u00f3n, restauraci\u00f3n, galer\u00edas y tambi\u00e9n el mundo comercial del arte.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
