Mathematics is a fascinating and challenging subject at A level and can lead to many possible future courses and careers. It develops critical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to construct logical arguments. If you\u00b4re thinking of studying economics, engineering or physics at university, having studied maths A level will enhance your enjoyment and performance at this level.<\/p>\n

There are two key areas for A level maths:<\/p>\n

  1. Pure Maths – this is more theoretical and looks at the structure of Maths<\/li>\n
  2. Applied Maths- this is more real life and deals with problem-solving situations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Las matem\u00e1ticas son una asignatura fascinante y estimulante en el nivel A y pueden conducir a muchos posibles cursos y carreras en el futuro. Desarrollan el pensamiento cr\u00edtico, la capacidad de resoluci\u00f3n de problemas y la habilidad para construir argumentos l\u00f3gicos. Si est\u00e1s pensando en estudiar econom\u00eda, ingenier\u00eda o f\u00edsica en la universidad, haber estudiado matem\u00e1ticas en el nivel A aumentar\u00e1 tu disfrute y rendimiento en este nivel.<\/p>\n

    Hay dos \u00e1reas clave para las matem\u00e1ticas de A Level:<\/p>\n

          We follow the Edexcel A level Maths Specification where all students study both Pure and Applied Maths and take one exam on each area at the end of Year 13. There is no coursework.<\/span><\/p>\n
