What We Offer - The education offered at A.I.S., is based on the National Curriculum, (England and Wales), but the Spanish language accounts for 20% of the curriculum time. As soon as they are able, foreign pupils are encouraged to join the Spanish and Spanish Social Studies classes, which Spanish students take as a matter of course.

In the Primary School, the latest strategies in numeracy and literacy have been initiated. Secondary school students sit for GCSE at the end of Year 11, or earlier in a few cases.

The school offers candidates for AQA and Edexcel examinations. In the Sixth form all pupils take AS and A2 examinations, whilst Spanish and bilingual students may take the courses leading to Spanish University Entry examinations as well. Entrants to British and other national university systems are guided through their choices individually.

A wide range of subjects are offered at GCSE and A level, including up to four languages, all three Sciences, Leisure and Tourism and Drama.
