Psychology is a fascinating subject. The course explores a wide range of perspectives explaining human behaviour and how our mind works. Other topics you will look at are abnormality and obedience to authority. This course can also be applied to the real world, such as the effects of day care on young children.

In the second year there are a range of topics that will be covered these vary from relationships, perception, aggression to eating behaviour.

This course is assessed by 2 examinations in each of the years.

This course will prepare you to either carry on at university with psychology as either clinical, educational or occupational psychologist. Careers that are relevant include teaching, nursing, medicine, police force, social work, business management, marketing, sport or speech therapy.
