We extend hearty congratulations to Guillermo who is about to have his research published in the Journal of Nano Research.

Guillermo

Guillermo completed his degree in Nanotechnology at Leeds University. He then completed a Masters degree in Madrid and now is working in CSIC (centro superior de investigaciones cientificas) at the institute of microelectronics in Madrid, in the area of nanowire synthesis.

His research is into the production and identification of atomically thin layers of transition metal compounds. In 2010 research into the production of thin layers of graphene to be used in superconductors and so on, was awarded the Nobel prize. Guillermo working with others, has made a discovery which is equally exciting and with many possible applications.
